Holy Spirit Catholic Church
The Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Tuscaloosa was a $12,500,000; 27,000 SF facility designed to replace an existing sanctuary.
The goal was to maintain the church’s relevance as a focal point of the existing campus. The best location of the church was determined to be the site of the current church, due in part to the height of elevation and ease of access.
The new 1000 seat sanctuary, blends reminders from the existing sanctuary with new elements. The rose window and the interior stained-glass windows in the day chapel were relocated from the old church.
The community has embraced the church as a prominent landmark that adds prestige to the West Alabama area.
