Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Headquarters
The Forensic Sciences Headquarters, located on the campus of Auburn University, houses The Department of Forensic Sciences administration and a drug chemistry laboratory. The headquarters administration wing is a two-story structure of approx. 20,000 sf and includes administrative and executive offices, IT systems department, accounting, human resources, conference rooms, reception, breakroom, filing, storage, and work areas.  The drug chemistry laboratory is located in the single-story building attached to the administration building, which contains approximately 10,000 sf of offices, conference rooms, evidence receiving, laboratory for 6 scientists, training lab, mock-courtroom, storage and processing areas.

The facility includes a high level of security and access controlled entry and exit as well as state of the art audio visual capabilities.
