The new Dining Facility for the Wadley campus of Southern Union State Community College replaces the existing 40-year-old cafeteria. The new facility seats 350 in café type arrangements; and includes additional meeting and private dining rooms as well as a terrace for outside dining in fair weather. The kitchen is designed to maximize the efficiency of a limited staff size. It incorporates a bakery, special order Grille, the option for self-serve or staff service for hot items, a salad and soup bar, beverage service and a scullery with a tray accumulator system. The main cooking line hood includes a UDS system for flexibility. The total area is approximately 17,000 square feet.
