Autauga County Metro Jail
​This two-phase jail project has an initial capacity of 138 Beds (36 Female, 102 Male) and a Shelled-in Unfinished Upper Level which will bring the total capacity to 266. Included in the 60,500 sf Facility:

• line-up room
• medical exam/treatment area
• large kitchen and laundry 

The Autauga County Metro Jail is a state-of-the-art, modern detention facility that opened in May 2006. 

Metro has 40 Employees and houses both City and County inmates and employees.
