Math, Science & Administration Building at Calhoun Community College
The 3-story, 84,000 sf building houses the departments of Mathematics and Science along with the College Administration.
The building includes 23 classrooms, of which 5 will hold 70-100 students and has distance learning capabilities. 9 laboratories are included to facilitate physics, biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology.
The lobbies and corridors are open and welcoming. The stairs are designed to encourage easy communication between floors. The design includes bas relief sculptures in each corridor, expressive of the mathematics and physics disciplines.
