Major Renovation and Re-purpose Project to convert Existing Hospital Function to Corporate Office Style Functions for a Consolidated State Criminal Justice Center. The building is owned by the Retirement Systems of Alabama.

The Department of Public Safety, its investigative section, the Alabama Bureau of Investigation, ALEA occupies 200,000 sf of the 378,277 gsf structure. The remaining square footage is occupied by The Department of Corrections and the Board of Pardons and Paroles. 

Renovations included gutting a majority of the building, moving walls, replacing all Building Systems, all Support Areas as well as complete Roofing and Envelope Waterproofing.
